to the west, the median of the Willamette River; to the north, the center line of Hawthorne Boulevard; to the south, the center line of Powell Boulevard; to the east, the center line of southeast 29th Avenue from Powell Boulevard to Division street, the center line of Division street to southeast 28th Place, the center line of southeast 28th Place to southeast Grant street, the center line of southeast Grant street to southeast 29th Avenue, the center line of southeast 29th Avenue to Hawthorne Boulevard.

Beginning at the intersection of SE 44th Avenue and Stark Street, then north along 44th Avenue to the Banfield Freeway, then generally westerly following the freeway to NE 33rd Avenue, then southerly to NE 32nd Avenue and then continuing southerly to SE Stark Street, then east to SE 44th Avenue, the point of beginning.

Linnton Neighborhood Association: The area of the Linnton Plan District is bounded on the north by the southern property boundary for the GATX Linnton Oil Terminal and NW 112th Avenue; bounded on the south by the northern boundary of the ARCO Linnton Oil Terminal, a common boundary with the Linnton Plywood Association property; bounded on the west by the ODOT Railroad Right-of-way; and, bounded on the east by the Willamette River.

Northwest District Association: The boundaries are West Burnside on the South side and the I-405 freeway to the East. To the North, we extend to the Willamette River, NW Nicolai Street and St. Helens Road. And our West edge is defined by the East boundaries of Forest and Macleay Parks, and a line running 600 feet west and parallel to Cornell and Westover Roads.

Old Town/Chinatown Neighborhood Association: The boundaries are the Willamette River to the east, West Bumside Street to the south, NW Broadway to the west, and the Broadway Bridge to the north.
Overlook Neighborhood Association: Overlook neighborhood is bordered by several major divisions. The Willamette river forms the southwest border. Counter-clockwise, the other edges are the Fremont bridge, I-5, N Ainsworth St, and N Willamette Blvd, continuing along the eastern boundary of University of Portland to the river.
